Lena Dunham and Jemima Kirke are completely un-photoshopped in this lingerie ad, and they look gorgeous
In case you needed any more proof that women are totally beautiful whether their photos are edited or not, these Photoshop-free pics of Lena Dunham and Jemima Kirke of Girls are literal perfection.
The flawless photos, which are a part of a launch by Lonely, a lingerie brand, are perfectly #NoFilter.
“Each of the women who participate in this project is empowered because they are not objectified,” Lonely told Marie Claire. “They are part of a conversation that disrupts paradigms around the way lingerie is typically presented.”
They’re seriously *so* glorious, and beyond lovely.
“Giving a glimpse into their worlds, we hope, amplifies this conversation and makes us all feel a little more liberated and comfortable in our own underwear,” the brand continued.
It’s totally fantastic to see these women rocking lingerie without either seeking out the male gaze or worrying about their bodies. We hope that more and more women come to realize that we have nothing to be ashamed of, no matter what our shape or size, and that more and more people in general realize that women’s bodies aren’t inherently sexual. Sometimes, we just wanna wear pretty lingerie, and it has nothing to do with trying to be sexy.
Lena Dunham and Jemima Kirke, thanks for giving women an extra confidence boost by showing that our bodies don’t have to look any one way. This message is body positive all the way and we LOVE it.
We’re beautiful as we are, and it’s worthy of all the heart eyes.
