Lego’s new ‘Ghostbusters’ firehouse is a world of wonder
Though we won’t be able to see inside the new Lady Ghostbusters’ headquarter until next year, soon we’ll be able to play with a version of it. That’s because Lego is making all our Ghostbusters dreams come true, and is releasing a 4,600+ piece Lego set of the 75827 Firehouse Headquarters complete with ghosts, and lots slime. Sadly, the Ecto-1 is not included, but there’s enough other awesome stuff inside to make up for that.
This brand new Lego set takes us back to the OG Ghostbusters, and includes our favorite characters, now in tiny Lego form. Like, haven’t you always wanted a bendable and poseable Lego Bill Murray as Peter Venkman? (The answer is yes.) It also includes tiny Raymond Stantz, Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore, Janine Melnitz, Dana Barrett, and Louis Tully. The building instructions even explain that you can do fun things like, “Run tests on Louis in the lab to see if he’s possessed” and “Dodge the slime oozing up through cracks in the pavement.” Sign us up.
The set won’t be available until January 2016, which means that you can’t add this one to your holiday list. But, Lego kindly released images of what we’ll find inside to get us all excited. The only downside is that the set retails for a pretty penny — $349.99. But that’s a small price to pay for the hours of enjoyment you’ll get out of it.
