This Lego response has just gone viral and, ICYMI, it’s the cutest ever

It’s not fun to lose objects that are important or sentimental to us, right? Well, imagine you’re a little boy and lose your Lego minifigure: The world is over.

That’s exactly what happened to 7-year-old Luka.

So what did he do?!

With his dad’s encouragement, Luka decided to write the ginormous, multi-million-dollar corporation a letter.

And what did Lego do in response?!

They wrote back!

But, once you see what Luka wrote, how could you not?

“Hello. My name is Luka and I am 7 years old…” he started, according to the correspondence between the two, which was posted on Twitter.

He goes on to explain how he used all his Christmas money to buy the Ninjago kit of the Ultrasonic Raider.

Awww. Did your hearts just melt like ours did?!

He also writes that his dad told him not to bring the figures along to the store, but he did.

“…I lost JayZX at the shop as it fell out of my coat. I am really upset I have lost him. Daddy said to send you a email to see if you will send me another one. I promise I won’t take him to the shop again if you can. Thank you.”

Richard at Lego Consumer Services wrote Luka back. He said he spoke to Sensei Wu about the matter, and they understood that Luka losing Jay was an accident. Richard said that Sensei Wu told him to convey the following to Luka:

“Luka, your father seems like a very wise man. You must always protect your Ninjago minifigures like the dragons protect the Weapons of Spinjitzu!

This actually happened back in 2013, according to CBC News, but is taking over the twitterverse now, thanks to Scott Kerr retweeting it yesterday, saying “LEGO’s customer service department should run the world.”
