Lea Michele got a beautiful tattoo in honor of Cory Monteith

You wouldn’t know it at first glance, but Lea Michele has quite a few tattoos. Like, she has way more than you would think. They’re mostly all very dainty — tattoos that you wouldn’t notice unless you knew where to look. She has music notes on her shoulder, a gold star on her wrist for her Glee character Rachel, and the word “Imagine” on her foot (a tattoo that many of the Glee cast members all have). And now, Lea added a very special one to the list: One for her quarterback, Finn Hudson.

Lea paid tribute to her late boyfriend Cory Monteith with a small number five, a nod to his character Finn’s football jersey number. As we Glee fans all know, Cory was more than just a quarterback on Glee. He was a leader that rallied the cast and crew both on and offstage, and was also #1 in Lea’s heart. We can’t really tell where the ink is placed, but we think it’s somewhere on her side. The tat may be small, but it’s incredibly meaningful.

That’s not the only tattoo that Lea has in honor of Cory. She also has the words “If you say so” on her rib cage, which she’s said are the last words that he spoke to her. Cue the waterworks.

Lea also got a small steaming cup of coffee inked on the inside of her finger to commemorate her grandmother, who passed away earlier this week. Why the mug? Lea says her grandmother gave her her first cup of coffee when she was just eight years old.

BRB, feeling all the feelings.
