Lay’s is releasing new chip flavors inspired by regional cuisine, like lobster rolls and deep-dish pizza

Lay’s is known for its unique chip flavors, but the flood of new flavors released today is on another level. On Wednesday, July 18th, Lay’s announced the newest additions to its roster, and you’ll want to try so many of these — especially since one of the flavors might remind you of home.

The new Lay’s flavors are part of the brand’s Taste of America campaign, and the company is releasing more new flavors at one time than ever before: eight. These flavors are meant to represent different parts of the country and popular regional dishes or flavors, and TBH, they sound delicious.

So what’s on the menu? Lay’s is introducing these new flavors: Deep Dish Pizza (from the Heartland), Lobster Roll (for the Northeast), Fried Pickles with Ranch (from the midwest), Cajun Spice (from the Central Gulf), Chili Con Queso (from the Southwest), Chesapeake Bay Crab Spice (from the Mid-Atlantic), Pimento Cheese (from the South), and Thai Sweet Chili (from the Pacific Northwest).

And if you’re missing some of your old favorites, don’t worry — the company is bringing back a few of those, too. Wavy West Coast Truffle Fries, Ketchup, and Wavy Fried Green Tomato are on their way back to shelves as well.

Ready to give the new flavors a try? They’ll be making their debut at different food festivals across the country in late July, and after that, they hit stores on July 30th — regional flavors will only be available in their respective markets, though, so plan a road trip (or just order any flavors you want online).

Plus, they’re only available until September 23rd, so if you want to grab a bag, make plans to do so ASAP. How heartbreaking would it be if you discovered your new favorite flavor right as it’s about to leave stores?
