Lauren Graham isn’t so sure a “Parenthood” revival will ever happen, and brb crying forever

With the release of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life quickly approaching, it’s hard not to think about another Lauren Graham masterpiece that deserves the revival treatment: Parenthood.

There’s been a lot of awesome talk lately about the fact that Parenthood *might* be coming back, and to that we say BRAVERMANS FOREVER. Not too long ago, Parenthood’s showrunner, Jason Katims, teased a revival, stating “when the time is right I would love to revisit it,” and tbh, we think that time is right now. So let’s make it happen, and soon.

At the premiere of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, we got the chance to chat superfast with Lauren herself, and sure, while Gilmore Girls was obviously on the forefront of our minds, we couldn’t help asking about Parenthood. Because, come on, doesn’t “Braverman: A Year in the Life” sound pretty great?

“That’s a tricky one,” Lauren explained. “Just as many people say to me, ‘please don’t [revive it], we loved how it ended.’ Now we’re in such a different world where we’re so much more in touch with our fans that you hear these things, so I don’t know. I kinda think we left that one where it needed to be.”

NO, don’t break our Braverman heart, Lauren!!

While she might not be so sure that a Parenthood revival is feasible, she’s at least 100% in for it, if/when it does happen.

“But if they asked, I’ll do it!”

And honestly, that’s all we need to hear to keep the Braverman hope alive. Sarah Braverman is ready, and willing, whenever you are, television.
