“Orange is the new Black’s” Laura Prepon is expecting her first child, and we’re so happy for her!
It seems that congratulations are in order as Ben Foster and Orange is the New Black’s Laura Prepon are expecting their first child together, and we’re so happy for them!
It was revealed last year that Prepon and Foster had become engaged after pictures of the OitNB star sporting a rather stunning engagement ring were seen at the premiere for The Girl on the Train. The couple have known each other since they were 18 (CUTE), and Foster is a friend of Prepon’s That ’70s Show costar, Danny Masterson. Indeed, Prepon recently opened up about how she was excited to start planning the nuptials.
However, it seems that there’s some more happy news for Laura Prepon and Ben Foster as they’re expecting their first child together!
According to a report on E! News, Prepon and Foster are currently at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, with a source confirming the news to People. We’re sending them all our congratulations.
Despite being reticent about discussion her personal life and her engagement to Foster, Prepon recently gave an interview to E! News where she gushed about her fiancé. Calling Foster the love of her life, the actor noted that she was happy before revealing some of her wedding plans.
"We want a really small wedding but we have a lot of people that we love and care about," Prepon said. "It's weird, [but] apparently doing the list for your wedding is a whole thing that could cause some issues."
Despite knowing they want a small wedding, however, Prepon joked that the cast of Orange is the New Black was 50 people strong already. Similarly, it seems that the couple’s schedules might be getting in the way of setting a specific date.
"He's going off to do two movies. I just wrapped last week," she said. "It's just, you know, scheduling. It's a lot."
We’re so happy for Laura and Ben both for their engagement and for the special news that they’re family is about to get bigger. It’s so fabulous and we can’t wait for wedding pictures and the inevitably adorable baby pics!
