From the north to the south to the big island of Hawaii, you can definitely still score some deals for under $500 for a much-needed spring break getaway. Which is good news, because no one should be stressing out over bills when you just want to chill.
Here are some of the best trips that you can take without breaking the piggybank.
1Guadalajara, Mexico
Craving some tequila and sunshine? According to our friends at Kayak, Guadalajara is the cheapest international city in March, with flights averaging around $280 round-trip. Flying out from Chicago will nab you the best price at $210. Can’t head to Mexico in March? No sweat. It also took the top spot on Kayak’s 2018 Travel Hacker Guide list of wallet-friendly destinations, so it’s pretty affordable all year-round.
2Aruba

If you’re looking for rich culture, street vendors, beautiful architecture, and beaches, look no further than Aruba. Score a round-trip ticket from New York City for spring break for $387.
3Boston
Want to stay domestic this spring break? Then head to Boston: Kayak reports that it’s the cheapest U.S. city to fly to in March with an average price of $210 round-trip. From Fenway Park to Boston Common to plenty of prestigious museums, there are a ton of fun things to check out in Beantown.
4The Caribbean
Kayak also reports that March is the best time to explore cities in the Caribbean. Not only will they be less crowded, but flight prices have also dropped compared to last year with average airfare to St. Thomas and Turks and Caicos under $500 round-trip. In fact, when we last checked, there were some packages for hotels priced at less than $200 per night.
5Las Vegas
Travelocity has a number of vacation packages for under $400 for spring break, including some major deals for Las Vegas. For example, a flight from Chicago to Las Vegas, plus three night accommodation, will run you $375. That’s more than enough time to gamble, shop, and see Céline in all her glory.
6Cancun, Mexico
Mexico makes the list again thanks to some super cheap deals from Travelocity. The site has some last-minute flight round-trip deals for under $500 during primo spring break time for the popular Mexican destination.
