Lana Del Rey just dropped a clip from her new album and it’s beautiful
Lana Del Rey, who has consistently put out hauntingly beautiful tracks ever since her 2010 self titled record, posted a new music clip from her next album, Honeymoon, two days ago. It’s dreamy, there’s a tiger looming out of a jungle, Rey has that whole “croon-y sad girl doing karaoke in a bar” sound on lockdown —basically, it’s perfect.
In order to prepare our hearts and our ears for Honeymoon, Rey even created a separate Instagram account for the album. Right now, you can find the titular song clip as well as the lyrics to go along with it. According to Pitchfork, you should be able to get your hands on Honeymoon in September of this year.
As for what the rest of the album is going to sound like, Rey told Billboard in an interview that, “It’s very different from the last one and similar to the first two, Born to Die and Paradise.” She added, “I’m kind of enjoying sinking into this more noirish feel for this one. It’s been good.” And we can’t wait.
In the meantime, listen up to a few seconds of “Honeymoon” right here.
