Lana del Rey and Marina and the Diamonds just brought back this iconic ’80s BFF statement
Remember when you were a kid and you and your BFF decided to take your bond to the next level by buying matching friendship bracelets? How sweet was that? It’s been, like, fifteen to twenty years since we’ve bought jewelry with our gal pals! We don’t know if kids still do things like this these days, but we have a feeling this trend might be making a comeback. Why? Because two of our favorite artists and bffs, Lana del Rey and Marina Diamandis aka Marina and the Diamonds, have recently debuted their own adorable friendship bracelets and we have to have them!

In the video, Marina says, “We haven’t seen each other for five years. And we know you’re all so supportive of our friendship so we just wanted to send you some love.”
Lana then blows us some kisses.
In honor of their reunion, the duo decided to invest in something more concrete to remember their love for each other with ’80s-inspired matching BFF charm bracelets.

We love them! There has even been talk of a collaboration between the two. Last year, Marina said of the internet’s obsession with their friendship and the possibility of making a song together, “I don’t know! I love her.” She tells the Aquarian, “I think we share a similar aesthetic in a way, my second album and her first one. I think we both obsessed over an icon, but yeah, I think she’s lovely.” Ahh.

Awww! They are so precious.
We cannot WAIT for Lana’s new album, Lust for Life, which is “coming soon”. We love her first single, also titled “Lust for Life” with The Weeknd. More please, Lana! And please include Marina!
