This Stark is apparently coming back from the dead. And leading an army.

Warning: Game of Thrones spoilers be ahead.

So, winter is coming. And so is… Lady Stoneheart? Apparently, she’s finally going to make her debut in Season 6, and readers of the Game of Thrones series are very, very excited about this (and knew it was coming, so). We can neither confirm nor deny the rumor in terms of whether this character will be on the HBO show, but it’s the latest that’s coming from the Game of Thrones rumor mill.

And who is Lady Stoneheart exactly? She’s actually a character you already know. Lady Stoneheart is Catelyn Stark, resurrected. According to the Game of Thrones Wiki page,

Catelyn fans, be warned. This is not the character you once knew and loved. The Wiki page states, “She is less gracious and forgiving than in life and is consumed with a desire for vengeance on anyone she thinks betrayed her and her son, Robb.”

Back in Season 4, fans were expecting Lady Stoneheart to make an appearance in the season finale. After all, she was mentioned in the epilogue of A Storm and Swords, which is the book the season was mostly based on—but no dice. Then, Season 5 came and went without Lady Stoneheart, too. But! We’re hearing she’s finally going to appear in the upcoming Season 6. Oh, and she’s bringing an army because as we said, she’s really, really pissed.

The rumor comes from Irish Thrones, our go-to resource when we need our behind-the-scenes peek at Westeros.

We hope the rumor is true, because that would be totally amazing, and long overdue. But GoT fan site Watchers on the Wall claims it’s false, according to their sources. “Armies? Doesn’t that sound just a little too organized for a barely reanimated corpse? Honestly,” they write.

And Twitter is having some mixed reactions to the rumor, too. Some people are full of hope.

But others are mad skeptical.

And some people are so overwhelmed, they just don’t know what to feel.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if LSH makes an appearance—something we’ve gotten pretty good at over the last few seasons!
