Lady Gaga totally crashed James Corden’s monologue on “The Late Late Show,” and it was awesome

Lady Gaga has been all over the place these days to promote her brand new album Joanne. You probably caught her on Saturday Night Live the other week, and heard about her dive bar tour. But last night, Gaga killed it with James Corden in carpool karaoke and reminded the world how incredible her vocals are.

Corden hosts The Late Late Show, and his segment where he sings with celebs in the car is pretty darn popular. But while Gaga did an amazing job (of course) it was actually Corden’s monologue that had us laughing the most.

As the show started, Lady Gaga stepped out instead of Corden, and literally tried to steal his show.

"Who's ready for some topical monologue jokes?" she asked, right before a pants-less Corden realized what was going on.

But, as expected, the audience loved every extra minute of Gaga that they could get.

Corden decided that, at the very least, he could let Gaga play with his band. And of course, she ended up killing that gig too.

While Lady Gaga has proven time and time again that she has both the acting and the singing chops (I mean, you’ve seen her host Saturday Night Live and of course, she’s a star on American Horror Show) last night’s appearance on Corden just showed that she’s pretty much down for anything. We didn’t know it was possible to love Lady Gaga more than we already did, but — well, here we are.
