Lady Gaga cries when talking about the things she can’t do now that she’s so famous
On the outside looking in, celebrities seem to have it all. The fame, fortune, and adoring fans. But in a recent interview with Lee Cowan on “CBS Sunday Morning” Lady Gaga opens up about missing connection with everyday people. We were super shocked to hear that Lady Gaga felt this way.
“I’m very acutely aware that once I cross that property line, I’m not free anymore, she said. “As soon as I go out into the world, I belong, in a way, to everyone else. It’s legal to follow me. It’s legal to stalk me at the beach. And I can’t call the police or ask them to leave.
“I miss people, Lady Gaga, born Stefani Germanotta, says through tears. “I miss people. I miss, you know, going anywhere and meeting a random person and saying, 'Hi', and having a conversation about life. I love people.
In light of Kanye West’s recent hospitalization, Gaga tweeted to send her well wishes to the artist. In the past, Lady Gaga has struggled with depression and anxiety, and it is so refreshing to see her be so open about mental health. It is also positive that she is encouraging others to take mental health seriously.
It's not funny to joke about anyone's possible or not possible mental illness, this is a sensitive time for many. Let's be kind & loving. ❤️
