Lady Gaga and her dad now have matching “Joanne” tattoos and it’s the coolest thing ever
Ever since she kicked off her latest musical era, Lady Gaga has continuously gone all out in her attempts to make sure fans can feel the Joanne vibes to their core. On Monday, the singer took her artistic expression to the next level when Gaga and her dad got matching Joanne tattoos, MTV reports. We absolutely love how Mother Monster and her dad have joined forces to further memorialize her latest release, which is inspired by the singer’s late aunt Joanne who passed away from lupus.
Gaga showed off her inspired new ink on Instagram, revealing her beloved aunt’s name written in cursive on her inner forearm. It’s one of those simple and gorgeous tattoos that speak volumes without doing too much and we absolutely love it. In fact, we’re quite sure there are hordes of Gaga’s precious Monsters having mass meltdowns over her loving gesture.
“Got Joanne tattooed on my arm in her actual signature,” Gaga captioned the photo. “My dad got one too. With an angel on his shoulder.”
Gaga has been #tattoogoals forever, but in the past six months, she’s blown us away with her thoughtful ink, including her tat that honors sexual assault survivors and her stunning David Bowie tattoo.
