Lady Gaga revealed her first celebrity crush, and it feels very on-brand
Lady Gaga is deep in A Star Is Born promo right now, so naturally, she made a pit stop on The Ellen Degeneres Show. During the show, she and Ellen played the recurring game “Burning Questions,” where the guest has to rattle off lightning-speed answers to random questions. Gaga ripped through questions about her favorite body part (her nose), her favorite reality show (90 Day Fiancé), and which celebrity she crushed hard on as a girl. And the answer to that last one? Adrien Brody.
The 45-year-old actor was likely starring in The Pianist around the time Gaga’s crush occurred, and honestly, this feels very on-brand for her. The internet is calling her crush “unusual,” but we we think one incredible talent crushing on another incredible talent makes total sense.
Gaga is currently dating CAA agent Christian Carino, so while a Gaga/Brody romance is unlikely, you never know what the future may hold.
The multi-hyphenate also gushed about A Star Is Born, calling it “one of the most fulfilling artistic experiences of my life,” while admitting she was quick to distance herself from the role as soon as she could.
"I literally dyed my hair blonde the night that we stopped shooting because I wanted to get out of it as soon as possible, she said on the show. "Without giving away the end of the film, there is some tremendous emotion and tragedy, so I wanted to get her out. But to be honest, she’s still in here.
A Star Is Born opens on October 5th, 2018.
