Lady Gaga’s homage to Audrey Hepburn at the 2019 Oscars will make you sing “Moon River”

Lady Gaga channeled another icon on the 2019 Oscars red carpet. The “Shallow” singer, who is nominated for best actress and best original song for A Star is Born this evening, paid homage to Audrey Hepburn in a classic black Alexander McQueen gown. The actress finished the look with black gloves, and, oh, just a necklace with 128.54 carat stone from Tiffany’s that was last worn by Hepburn herself in Breakfast at Tiffany’s promotional photos.

She paired the stone with diamond earrings from the 2019 Extraordinary Tiffany Collection, according to Town & Country.

Gaga is up for best actress in a leading role at the 91st annual Academy Awards, as well as best original song for “Shallow.” A Star is Born also garnered a best picture nod.
