Emo Kylo Ren and Very Lonely Luke got into the best Twitter spat, and everyone’s a winner

In the weeks after the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, so many amazing Star Wars related-things have surfaced across the Internet. There are fan drawings, countless in-depth theories, and of course, jokes. Falling into this last category, a handful of Star Wars Twitter parodies have awakened. There was nothing like this back in 1977 or 1999.

The best Twitter parody (IMO) has to be Emo Kylo Ren, which imagines brooding and frustrated Force Awakens antagonist as a very emo Hot-Topic-lovin’ tween. The next best one is Very Lonely Luke, who is very lonely all alone on his Jedi Island in the middle of nowhere out in the ocean, but at least he has WiFi.

And since the Internet was basically invented to entertain us, it didn’t take long for Emo Kylo Ren and Very Lonely Luke to start tweeting at one another, as nephew and uncle do…we guess. Spoilers for Force Awakens, because these guys just didn’t see the movie, they lived it.

Their conversation started off simply enough, with Luke questioning Kylo Ren’s fashion.

SHOTS FIRED.

Well, this escalated quickly.

Then, Darth Vader (from beyond the grave) chimed in.

And this still continued on for another dozen tweets.

For right now, it appears as if the battle in 140 characters or less between these two has died down for right now, but the Force has by no means been restored to Twitter yet. Let’s hope they start bickering again soon. We’ve got to pass the 692 days between now and Episode VIII somehow.
