Kylie Jenner’s new (limited edition) blue Lip Kit shades are giving us all the patriotic feels

When you think of the 4th of July, you probably think of fireworks, hot dogs, freedom, and…blue lipstick? Trust us, it’s going to be a thing ever since Kylie announced two new blue shades of her covered Lip Kit on Snapchat last night, just in time for the upcoming holiday.

These limited edition shades, Freedom and Skylie, expertly capture the blue hues of the American flag and the summer sky and they’ll both become available this Friday. We better scoop them quick, because they’re limited edition, so we don’t know if we’ll ever see them again.

Skylie, light and bright, is the perfect addition to any BBQ — I mean, just look at how well it complements the green grass! Plus, it’s a Lip Kit, so we know it can withstand anything the grill has to offer.

Then, there’s Freedom, which you can apply when the sun starts to set and the fireworks begin. It’s a darker, deeper color that’s ready for the afterparty, even if the “afterparty” is just “eating leftovers by the bonfire.”
