Kylie Jenner is launching VELVET lip kits, this is not a drill

Kylie Jenner announced a line of new Kylie Lip Kits, and we are so excited to try them out! On Friday, Kylie took to Snapchat, like she usually does, in order to give us the amazing news. The line is called Velvet, and it’s an entirely new formula for her brand. It seems like she’s started with more neutral colors, but hopefully, there will be more colors soon!

There are four shades in the Velvet Lip Kits.

There’s Rosie, a pinkish burgundy; Harmony, a mid-tone pink; Charm, a pale pink; and Dazzle, a blue-red. Velvet lipsticks have that perfect mix of a demi-matte look with a creamy feel, for those who like the in-between look. Kylie described the four neutral shades as “super smooth and creamy,” adding, “But they’re definitely not glossy.”

"I did these for my girls who don't really love a matte lip," Kylie said on Snapchat.

The velvet lip kits contain a special formula that prevents them from drying fully into a matte look. It also keeps them from being super glossy. Check out the swatches:
