Kylie Jenner finally addressed the Travis Scott breakup rumors, saying she’s prioritizing their “friendship”

Update, October 3rd, 3:25 p.m. EDT: Kylie Jenner took to Twitter today, October 3rd, to address the rumor that she and boyfriend Travis Scott called it quits earlier this week. And Jenner appeared to everyone’s suspicion with her choice of words.

Jenner tweeted that she and Scott are on “great terms” and taking time to focus on their daughter and their “friendship.”

Jenner also attempted to put gossip about her reuniting with her ex-boyfriend Tyga to rest, tweeting, “The internet makes everything 100 times more dramatic than what it really is.” According to Jenner, she and her ex simply were at the same location at the same time—nothing more went down.

Jenner has spoken. Although rumors and gossip will inevitably continue to fly about her current relationship status, fans should be happy that they have received some closure.

Originally posted October 2nd: Kardashian-Jenner fans, we’ve got some sad news to report. On October 1st, rumors began to surface that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott broke up after more than two years together, and here’s what we know.

TMZ first reported that the couple were “taking a break” from their relationship, allegedly after “trying to make the relationship work for a while.” TMZ also noted that this isn’t the first time the pair have temporarily split, and that they plan to continue co-parenting baby Stormi.

After the initial report, Us Weekly confirmed the split, but it’s worth pointing out that neither Jenner nor Scott have confirmed the news themselves. Still, we’re bummed to hear this, especially since the couple posed for Playboy together just last month.

This isn’t the first time they’ve been plagued with rumors about their relationship. Toward the end of 2018, it was reported that Scott had cheated on Jenner — a rumor he swiftly shut down. Jenner also shut down split rumors last year, which oddly coincided with a rumor that the couple were secretly married.

Their last public appearance as a couple was in August at the premiere for Scott’s Netflix documentary Look Mom I Can Fly, and Jenner’s last social media post with Scott—a photo from their Playboy shoot—was uploaded on September 10th.

Jenner attended Justin and Hailey Bieber’s wedding in South Carolina on Monday night, September 30th, but her plus-one was baby Stormi, and they made a picture-perfect pair. For his part, Scott has been focusing on the release of his new single, “Highest in the Room,” which drops on Friday, October 4th.

Naturally, fans have been shocked by the news, taking to Twitter to share the hilarious reactions they had when hearing about the split.

We’re definitely in our feels too, but we’re hoping that Jenner and Scott are focusing on what is best for them and their little one, no matter what might be going on in their relationship. Stay tuned for more details as they unfold.
