Kylie Jenner’s “layered fishnet” look is the trend we didn’t know we needed to try

As the ’90s, and all things grunge, continue to find their way to be reborn in the millennium, we’re seeing plenty of mesh, fishnet, and the like. Kylie Jenner wore three kinds of fishnet last night, showing us that ~more is more~ is definitely the way to go with the fabric.

For last night’s look, the beauty mogul paired a small netted mesh bodysuit with a high neck and tan lining with a high-waisted asymmetrical midi skirt in a large square mesh. She finished off the mesh-on-mesh look with knee-high mesh boots with beehive netting.

Kylie wore her long, black hair down and kept her makeup simple, opting for a brick colored eye and nude lip. Although there is a lot going on with the outfit in terms of texture, thanks to the all-black color palette it doesn’t feel overwhelming. And since it’s all the same fabric in different dimensions, it works together pretty effortlessly.

If you’re trying to steal her style, remember to coordinate mesh pieces in different sizes in the same color for optimal results. Pair with a statement heel or lip for extra flair. The best part of reworking vintage-inspired pieces is being able to update them for what you’re feeling today.
