Kylie Jenner (and a bunch of friends) broke the rules at the Met Gala and took one EPIC selfie

In a move that proves it’s actually impossible to stop a member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan from taking selfies, Kylie Jenner broke the Met Gala no-selfie rule last night (May 1st), and the picture is totally epic.

In 2015, event chair and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour decreed that selfies were BANNED at the Met Gala. According to reports, the enigmatic magazine editor allegedly hates selfies, and was pretty adamant that, going forward, there were to be no sneaky snaps inside the prestigious event. Despite this rule, many celebs have covertly taken photos at the Met Gala, and it seems that this year is no different.

Last year, model Behati Prinsloo broke the rules and took a bathroom snap at the event, and the picture was super fun.

Well Kylie Jenner, along with her sister Kendall, decided she couldn’t not document their experience at the Met, and rounded up some other famous faces for one amazing bathroom mirror shot.

The picture sees Kylie, Kendall, Kim Kardashian, Paris Jackson, A$AP Rocky, Lily Aldridge, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Moonlight‘s Ashton Sanders, Michelle Monaghan, Brie Larson, and the notoriously camera shy Frank Ocean all pile into the frame.

In fact, Kylie wasn’t the only star to use the bathroom for “forbidden” pictures. Rita Ora and Rami Malek also took a bathroom snap together, which Rita then shared on Snapchat.

Fashion designer Stella McCartney also got in on the action, too.

Given that she’s never been one for following the rules, Mindy Kaling took matters one step further, and took a selfie with comedian Hasan Minhaj during the dinner itself…naughty.

It seems, too, that rapper Lil’ Yachty was overwhelmed by the whole event, and he flagrantly flout the rule by snapping selfies with Rihanna and the elusive Frank Ocean.

Hey, it’s pretty hard to separate a celebrity from their phone (and we absolutely love it!).

Last night’s Met Gala was held in honor of Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo, who founded the iconic brand Comme des Garçons.
