Kylie Jenner’s baby is here, and Twitter is on fire
Quick check-in: How are we all doing emotionally? After months of unconfirmed-but-kinda-confirmed suspicions and endless investigations by Twitter sleuths, it has finally happened: Kylie Jenner confirmed both her pregnancy and the birth of her new daughter.
Yup, Kylie Jenner really was pregnant, everybody. Following initial reports in September, Kylie and her boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott, welcomed their daughter on February 1st, 2018. Kylie announced both her pregnancy and the birth of her daughter in an Instagram post on Sunday. In her note to fans, Kylie explained why privacy was so important to her during these nine months:
"my pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself i needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way i knew how. there was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal i had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness."
Along with the Instagram announcement, Kylie also shared a link to a mini documentary on YouTube, documenting her path to motherhood, her relationship with Travis, and her baby shower — and providing those baby bump pics that Kylie stans desperately waited for.
