Kristin Cavallari has a cookbook coming out soon and here’s everything you need to know

If you’re curious about what Kristin Cavallari eats for every meal no longer need to wonder! The former Laguna Beach star announced she’s working on a cookbook based on her daily eating habits.

Taking a cue from fellow stars like Chrissy Teigen and Gwyneth Paltrow, Cavallari announced she’ll soon be publishing her first cookbook, which will a mix of healthy protein-laden eats and fun desserts, which she admits she has a weakness for. This is her second book, following Balancing in Heels: My Journey to Health, Happiness, and Making It All Work, and Cavallari told E! News it’s been in the works for awhile.

"I've actually been working on it for the last couple of years with hopes I'd have a cookbook deal, and it's finally come true, and I'm so excited, she said. “It's going to be a reflection of how I eat on a daily basis."

Those that follow her on social media know she shares cooking photos  all the time, largely on Instagram where she gives followers glimpses at her latest creations. A cookbook seems like a natural  and delicious extension.

She told E! That the book will be focused on versatile dishes with fresh ingredients.

"It's a lot of protein, a lot of veggies, a lot of beans, and those kind of sides, she said. “There's butter in it, real butter. Limited dairy, however. It's almost gluten-free, there's a couple pasta dishes made with brown rice pasta.

It’s great that her cookbooks will include foods for the non-gluten-inclined. Even better is how many sweets are included, as Cavallari explained:

"A lot of desserts. I have a huge sweet tooth, I just use better ingredients, so I use pure maple syrup, I'm using spelt flour or oat flour, those kinds of things. I essentially eat whatever I want, I just use better ingredients."

Fans will have to wait till 2018 to get their hands on the book, but in the meantime can continue to look for sneak peaks on her Instagram.
