Kristen Stewart’s Cannes film got a standing ovation because her performance was THAT good

All week long we’ve all been drooling and oggling Kristen Stewart’s Cannes fashion. And while that’s great and all, she IS in the South of France for a film festival for the excellent work she’s doing as an actress.
Ever since Twilight (#NeverForget), Kristen has been distancing herself from Hollywood by doing super low-budget, indie or even foreign films. One of her newest films Personal Shopper premiered at Cannes the other night and the crowd gave K-Stew a four-and-a-half minute standing ovation. SHE DESERVES ALL THE MINUTES TBH! false false
In the film, Kristen plays an American girl in Paris trying to communicate with the ghost of her dead brother. It’s a psychological thriller that apparently has an unsettling ending. Unfortunately, that unsettling ending left a few viewers at an earlier screening so upset there were scattered boos. false
And by scattered, we mean, like, a handful of haters. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Kristen said, “Everybody did not boo. Let’s be clear.”
But enough with the boos. By the second screening, all anyone could talk about was how great this film was.
Watch the trailer and decide for yourself but we are already lined up for the midnight screening of this movie WE CANNOT WAIT.
