The sweet reason why Kristen Bell is so thankful for her mother-in-law

Celebrities like Blake Lively, Emma Watson, Selena Gomez, and many other inspiring women have been supporting Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg’s Together We Can initiative, which aims to get women to empower fellow women as we all work together to succeed.  Now, Kristen Bell is joining this group of powerhouses to pay tribute to a woman who’s made a difference in her life.

Yesterday, she posted this family photo to Instagram:

The above image features Kristen’s mother-in-law (aka Dax Shepard’s mom). To celebrate this woman’s life, Kristen wrote these wonderful words: “My mother in law- who worked her way up from garage janitor to owning one of the most respected supply businesses in the auto industry, while simultaneously raising 3 well adjusted thoughtful baby humans. You are a daily inspiration and source of guidance to me.”

As a mother herself – to 3-year-old Lincoln and 1-year-old Delta – we can imagine that Kristen’s mother-in-law has given her plenty of advice when it comes to raising her own children. Plus, since Kristen and her husband Dax are basically soulmates, we can imagine Kristen’s grateful to her mother-in-law for birthing the man she loves and the father of her children.
