Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard give us an inside look at their “Hamilton” date night
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are, without a doubt, one of the cutest Hollywood couples and continue to melt even the coldest hearts. Just one example: The perfect pair saw Hamilton in New York City Wednesday night, letting everyone on Instagram know just how excited they were.
Bell first posted a video while they waited for the show to begin with the caption,
"Mommy and Daddy's night out!!!! #hamilton the musical is gonna bring the party! My excitement cannot be contained and full disclosure I cried during the opening number."
Further proving how adorable they are, she said she was seeing Hamilton with “the cutest man in town” and showed off their Broadway snacks (chocolate-covered blueberries for her, Twix for him).
Later, she posted another video during intermission so Shepard could give fans his review of the show up to that point. Her husband, who she wrote in the caption “hates all musicals and loved this one,” said he wished there was more singing, also offering an alternative title, Hamil-toe, “because of the outfits.”
Bell wrote that she cried five times during the performance and that her heart was “singing the whole time.” She continued, “Every single performer was perfection. The band was divine. BRAVO to every hand involved. Thank you @lin_manuel for all energy it took to bring this story to stage.”
I think it’s safe to say they liked Hamilton (I mean, duh. Has anyone not liked it?), though they didn’t post a third video with their final thoughts. It’s almost impossible to watch the couple together and not smile, but this date was especially adorable. Here’s to hoping they always share videos of date night!
