Watch Kristen Bell and her kids dancing outside Dax Shepard’s window as he self-isolates
Although we’re all practicing social distancing in order to protect our fellow citizens, government officials and medical professionals still say that, for the time being, it’s okay to go outside to get some fresh air and exercise—as long as you stay six feet away from everyone you meet. And that’s exactly what Kristen Bell and her kids did while husband Dax Shepard is staying in isolation.
Bell and her daughters performed a dance routine in front of the apartment where Shepard is staying after having recently traveled, and the video will put a smile on your face in these truly strange and upsetting times.
“@daxshepard Got back from [traveling] on Monday,” Bell captioned her March 19th Instagram post. “To be cautious, I asked him to stay at a friend’s empty apartment for a bit to make sure he had no symptoms. Today we were missing him so much, we did the only logical thing we knew how to do. Danced outside his window to a @bensplatt and @dearevanhansen serenade.”
She added the hashtags #staysane #stayhome, #wereinthistogether, and #wavingthroughawindow.
Even though these are less-than-happy times, you can still do happy dances to brighten the mood.
Bell has been vocal about staying safe and doing your part during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. She shared this hilarious meme on March 19th to express the importance of covering your mouth while coughing, as well as keeping your distance from your fellow citizens.
“Many people have many [different] reasons for being more susceptible to this virus that we others may be. Some may be obvious, others may not. It’s incredibly important that we socially distance, to protect the vulnerable ones among us,” Bell wrote. “Let’s show up for one another, by staying home for one another.”
As Bell said via hashtags, we’re in this together. Stay safe, stay home, stay sane, and do what you need to to make yourself happy—whether that’s baking, reading, painting, video chatting with friends, silly dancing, etc. Take care of yourself while you take care of others by practicing social distancing.
