Kristen Bell is launching her own affordable CBD skincare brand
Fans of Kristen Bell know that she values self care. A major part of the star’s self-care routine? Skin care. Bell often posts pictures in face masks (sometimes matching with her husband, Dax Shepard) to her Instagram account and promotes the products she’s loving. So, it’s no surprise that the actress is stepping behind-the-scenes of skincare products to make her own. Enter: Happy Dance, Bell’s upcoming CBD skincare line.
Bell, a longtime fan of Lord Jones CBD products, is teaming up with the brand to launch a new affordable line of CBD skin and personal care products, called Happy Dance, in fall 2020.
“I first discovered Lord Jones CBD products two years ago and have been using them ever since,” Bell told People. “I was skeptical at first, but was quickly blown away by the quality, integrity, and consistency in all of the products.”
Lord Jones is known for its high-quality CBD products, but they come with a hefty price tag. Once Bell met with the brand’s founders, they collectively decided she was the perfect person to bring Lord Jones products to a larger audience.
“We aligned on a shared desire to make a CBD line that would be accessible to a wider audience at a lower price point while maintaining the same trusted quality as the Lord Jones brand,” Bell told People.
While Bell hasn’t revealed the exact products that will be featured in the skincare line, she promises they’ll give you “a positive boost” each time you use them, according to People.
“Self care shouldn’t be an event,” she said. “Self care should consist of everyday pick-me-ups that can be integrated into one’s daily routine.”
We’re sure we could learn a thing or two from Bell about self care, and we’re looking forward to using personalized products from the actress, entrepreneur, and mom of two.
Before news of the Lord Jones-Bell partnership was announced, Bell thanked the brand for their donations of CBD products to hospital workers fighting the coronavirus (COVID-19). She reposted a Lord Jones Instagram post showing frontline responders holding the brand’s products.
The original post caption read, “Huge thanks to @thelordjones for sending hundreds of their CBD products to NYU, Harlem Hospital, Lincoln Hospital, and Jackson Health! The NYU Team was so excited to have some skin relief after hours in painful masks. The @thelordjones team included such a kind note, please swipe to read. It’s going to take a few days to distribute to all the hospitals, so will update with pictures as they come in.”
We’re adding Happy Dance to our list of skincare brands to try this fall.
