The latest Krispy Kreme donut flavors might just melt your mind
Have you ever been eating a donut and thought to yourself, “How could this wonderfully delicious moment get even better?” The good people at Krispy Kreme UK did, and went on to create Reese’s peanut butter cup-flavored donuts. REESE’S FLAVORED DOUGHNUTS, PEOPLE.
These are not your average pastry; they’re a special breed of super-donut. They’re pumped with peanut butter creme, topped with dark chocolate, and sprinkled with peanut butter chips and chopped caramelized hazelnuts. Sadly, us folks in the US don’t have a chance to get in on this goodness, as it’s only being sold in the UK.
But you know what we do have? Krispy Kreme bacon hot dog donuts. This is not a joke.
Apparently, Krispy Kreme partnered with a minor league baseball team in Wilmington, Delaware, The Wilmington Blue Rocks, in order to create this questionable concoction. What we have here is a glazed donut stuffed to the gills with a hotdog, topped with bacon and—get this—a drizzle of raspberry jam.
What is this madness and who is behind it? According to the Daily News, it ain’t Krispy Kreme. They’re just providing the donuts, the Blue Rocks came up with the recipe. So that probably means you have to travel to Delaware if you dare to try this edible heart attack anytime soon.
If we had to choose a location based on Krispy Kreme donut flavors, we’d rather buy one ticket to London for some Reese’s action. But hey, to each his own.
