Kris Jenner finally broke her silence post-Kim Kardashian’s robbery and shared this inspiring tweet

The Kardashian family has had a harrowing past few weeks following the armed robbery of Kim Kardashian on Monday, October 3rd. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and wife to Kanye West was bound and gagged in her Paris apartment while two men stole a trove of jewelry costing about 11 million dollars in total.

Although Kardashian reps have been in contact with media outlets, the family unit had been fairly quiet, especially Kris Jenner, since the event until yesterday when Jenner broke her silence via Twitter and Instagram. She posted a heartfelt message telling her followers to cherish each moment you have with loved ones.

She tagged the post with #blessed, #love, #family, and #grateful.

Khloé Kardashian appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday and reported that Kim “is not doing that well” post robbery. She reassured DeGeneres that the family “is super close” and that they’ll get through it together. According to People MagazineKim blames herself for the robbery, wishing she hadn’t flaunted her 4 million dollar ring via social media. As Khloé reiterated on Ellen, the Kardashian-Jenners are stepping out of the public eye and reevaluating their social media presence as a response to the traumatic event.

The group of five men who committed the robbery are still at large. As scary as that is, the Kardashian-Jenner family is trying to redeem a sense of normalcy. For security reasons, the sisters have cancelled book signings and other public appearances for the time being. Kanye West returned to his “Saint Pablo” tour after calling off several shows to deal with the family emergency. Shooting for Keeping Up With the Kardashians is on an indefinite hold while the investigation continues.

Kris Jenner’s emotional tweet is an important reminder for all of us. Never take anything or anyone for granted. We’re glad the family is safe and together during this stressful time.
