Koko the Gorilla just rocked out with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and we’re amazed
Koko, the world’s most famous gorilla (and a real sweetie pie), recently met one of the world’s most famous musicians. For those of you who don’t know, Koko is the super intelligent ape whose love of cats and ability to use sign language has made her a viral celebrity. Well, now Koko can add “musician” to her many skills, thanks to a recent visit from Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist (and beekeeper) Flea.

According to The Gorilla Foundation’s website:
“Koko was thrilled by the mellow sounds and a jamming session followed with Koko strumming on Flea’s bass! Watch for more news on future collaborations between the two.”
We know Koko has a crush on Benedict Cumberbatch, but we have a feeling Flea might have just one-upped him in her admiration!
Flea himself seemed pretty pumped by the experience, sharing fun photos (along with the previous video) on his Facebook and Instagram pages.
