This kitchen appliance is essentially a grownup Easy Bake Oven, and we’re obsessed

Nothing makes me long for a simpler time quite as much as thinking about my favorite childhood toys. But, present day isn’t so bad either now that we can buy a kitchen appliance that’s basically a grownup Easy Bake Oven. Yes, you read that correctly — the CHiP Smart Cookie Oven has arrived and it’s just as glorious as it sounds.

The CHiP bakes gourmet cookies in less than 10 minutes — and, don't worry, no actual baking skills are required. (Phew!) Just put the CHiP Dough Pod into the machine, press start, and voilà — you'll have a fresh batch of cookies to enjoy.

And, don’t worry, you can adjust the settings so the cookies are just right — the machine lets you select chewy, classic, or crispy. If you’re fancy and have your own recipe, you can use your own dough rather than a Dough Pod. (Seriously, is there anything this magical appliance can’t do?)

By now, I'm sure you're clamoring to get your hands on a CHiP. (I know I am.) Luckily for us, it's already on Kickstarter for $99. After November, it'll hit the market at $144. So, there's no time like the present to get a little holiday shopping done early — we've all got a few friends who miss the Easy Bake Oven just as much as we do.

The only thing better than all the ~nostalgia feels~ is when they’re accompanied by copious amounts of sugary, chocolatey cookies.
