Kit Harington opens up about the struggles of moving in with his girlfriend, Rose Leslie

We’ll admit it. We were pretty furious when Ygritte died on Game of Thrones. Why? Because it inherently squashed any possibility of seeing Ygritte and Jon Snow together again! Sigh. But over the past couple of years, we have felt our cold hearts melt since hearing that these two, IRL Rose Leslie and Kit Harington, are actually together off-camera in one of the most seemingly genuine celebrity relationships we’ve ever seen. And now it turns out they are taking their relationship to the next step — Kit and Rose are moving in together! Aww.

In a recent interview with Esquire, Harington revealed that he was house hunting with Leslie in New York City! But, wait, it turns out they might not end up there after all.

“I’m the most fickle person,” he tells Esquire. “Now I’m looking for a house in the English countryside; next week it will be Florida. Never take my word on what the fuck I’m doing!”

Hahaha. We empathize, Kit. But the bottom line? These two are doing pretty well, and that makes us happy. He says, “We are very, very happy. So that’s what I’ll say about that.” Yay.

Harington, true to form, didn’t even really want to talk about his relationship during this interview and tried to shut down the relationship talk at one point. He says he doesn’t like to talk about his romance with Leslie because, “It’s as much her relationship as it is mine and I can’t speak for both of us.” We can dig it.

Leslie has also been super reserved when asked about Kit. She said in an interview with the Telegraph that they were “very happy,” and added that Kit is “a great man. I’m very proud of him.” Short and sweet!

We wish the two of them the best of luck with the apartment search! But, hey, maybe steer clear of Ikea? We can’t bear to lose this relationship again!
