Kit Harington is going to be SO SAD when he leaves “Game of Thrones”

Spoiler Alert! If you’re not caught up on Game of Thrones, DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER. We warned ya.

Viewers were panicked when Game of Thrones made it seem like our beloved Jon Snow had died for good. But thankfully he was brought back to life, ready to fight yet another battle. While Game of Thrones is huge, we know that eventually, all good things must come to an end. And Kit Harington is already preparing for his post-Thrones life.

It was confirmed by a director that the show will only have two seasons left — two very, very short 7-episode seasons. That means that the cast and crew are likely thinking about how their storylines are going to wrap up. Game of Thrones was Harington’s first show ever, but he definitely has a few other projects in the works, including Brimstone, a Western thriller set to be released later this year. But, it’s not saying goodbye to Jon Snow that Harington is most worried about — in fact, it’s not being able to hang out with his cast members on a regular basis anymore.

“We’re a big family now, we’re very very close,” Harington said to Express. “I’ll be very sad when it ends, it’s been a huge part of my twenties and it’s going to be leaving a huge gaping hole when it finishes.”

You might have heard that Harington is in a relationship with his past on-screen love Rose Leslie, but he’s also quite close to Maisie Williams, who plays Arya. Fans of the show have seen plenty of photos of the cast, both past and present, hanging out and having an incredible time, so Harington’s sweet words aren’t a total surprise. You might remember the funny video for Red Nose Day that came out last year, which included the cast taking part in Coldplay’s Thrones-themed musical. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

Have no fear, sweet Kit. When you’re on a show this epic, I’m sure there will be plenty of reunions in your future.
