Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist announces cancellation of their planned makeup master class
Fans of Mario Dedivanovic were thrilled when he announced a master class to be held in Dubai. Attendees were going to get an up close and personal look at Mario’s technique, be able to ask questions, and take home a gift bag worth $1800.
The cherry on top? Kim Kardashian was scheduled to be his model and even answer a few questions from the crowd. The show was over $1600 per ticket and everyone would also be gifted Mario’s sold-out palette created with Anastasia Beverly Hills.
Today, Mario announced that in light of Kim’s recent attack and robbery in Paris that the master class has been cancelled. Ticket holders can choose between getting a full refund or having their spot held for the rescheduled date. Some of his fans were not having it.
Many called for the MUA to replace Kim with another model and accused Mario of turning his back on his fans in favor of a friend.
While it’s understandable that fans would be upset about the class being cancelled, Mario’s reasoning more than makes sense. What happened to Kim is no doubt traumatic and terrifying, and has most likely affected many of those in her inner circle.
One commenter summed up the situation the best way possible, “Have a freakin’ heart.”
