Kim Kardashian and Kanye West just announced the birth of their son

Congratulations all around! On Saturday morning, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed a darling little baby boy into the world, and it’s time to celebrate.

Earlier today Kim posted a picture to her Twitter showing her and West holding hands. The caption read, “he’s here!” and the link in the Tweet brought us over to Kim’s official website. The news there was also amazing, noting that “Mother and son are doing well.”

That’s what we always like to hear after a pregnancy, especially in Kim’s case. She’s had a few ups and downs with her second pregnancy, and just earlier this week revealed that her son had been breech in the womb (the medical term for “upside down”). After a procedure over the Thanksgiving weekend, everything was checked out fine for mom and baby, and now the latter is finally here in this great, big beautiful world.

The baby’s name has not been released — nor has it’s height and weight, other things that are always announced when a baby is born, because, babies — but everyone sounds like they are happy and healthy. No word yet on what North West thinks of her new baby brother, but we should know soon enough. We’re going to need at least a thousand Instagram pictures of this new little tot.
