Kim Kardashian skipped her first planned public appearance to be by Kanye’s side, and we’re really feeling for her
It definitely seems like life has been stressful for Kim Kardashian lately. There was the horrific Paris robbery, and now husband Kanye West has been hospitalized after canceling the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour.
And we just found out that Kim skipped a gala to rush to his side at UCLA Medical Center. The event — which was the Angel Ball for cancer research— would have been her first public appearance since the Paris robbery
The gala — which was partly in honor of Kim’s late father Robert Kardashian who died of cancer in 2003 — was still attended by sisters Kourtney and Khloe and mom Kris.
From what we know so far, it seems like exhaustion is the culprit for Kanye’s behavior. He ended a recent show early for health reasons, and cancelled the rest of his tour soon after a seemingly bizarre stage rant in Sacramento.
There were a ridiculous amount of dates on his tour — often with no days to rest in-between cities — so it’s understandable that he’d require some time off to regain his strength and stamina. And apart from his tour, Kanye balances music with fashion design and being a father and husband, so yeah…some down time sounds incredibly needed.
We’re sending all the healing vibes to Kanye, and best wishes to the whole family as they deal with this together.
