So we should probably talk about Kim Kardashian’s secret Snapchat account

It is a truth universally acknowledged that Kim Kardashian is one of the most public people on Planet Earth. As such she’s usually the one being stared at, on her reality show, on her Instagram, and on every screen in the world that one time she broke the Internet with her butt.

This may all seem completely unrelatable (because, um, it is), but in some ways, Kim is very much like us. She’s into the public attention, but she also just wants to Internet stalk people. That’s why Kim Kardashian has DA DA DUHHHH a secret Snapchat account that she’s been using to peep on us all! Well, probably not US, but Kim has definitely been doing her fair share of Snapstalking with her secret account.

She revealed on her friend Jonathan Cheban’s Snapchat the origin story behind her under-wraps Snaps. In a series of Snaps, Kim tells the tale. Note that Kim is clearly adjusting to the tininess of a Snapchat’s timespan, she gets cut off after starting, and then throws some shade about being so rudely interrupted in the next Snap:

Then Kim reveals all:

“So I was bored in London. I couldn’t sleep. And then Jonathan had me open up a secret Snap. Do you wanna know why?”

Scratch that, she actually has to wait for the NEXT Snap to reveal all:

“Jonathan told me that if I followed some of our friends and saw what they really do in their real life, wasted and acting so crazy, I would never be friends with them again.”

This raises so many questions. If they’re your friends, don’t you know what they do in their real lives? And to get philosophical, what is “real life” anyway?  Also, is being “wasted” and “acting so crazy” really a deal breaker when it comes to being friends with Kim Kardashian? No shade, we promise, just an honest question.

Okay, we’ll let Kim keep talking:

“So Jonathan walked me through how to open up a Snapchat in London. Kanye was snoring in the bed right next to me, not really snoring, passed out. I couldn’t sleep so Jonathan opened up a Snapchat with me over the phone and I started following some friends and saw what they do in their…”

Again, Kim is cut off by Snapchat. But give the lady a break, she’s used to using her Snapchat purely for spying purposes, this whole actually-using-it-to-talk-to-the-people thing is new for her. And it looks like once she gets off Jonathan’s Snap, she’s going back to her low-key peeping ways. In her words:
