Kim Kardashian accidentally revealed the sex of her third baby on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”

Everyone makes mistakes — but in this case, we’re wondering if it was really unintentional. Kim Kardashian announced the sex of her third baby during a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she discussed North West’s desire to make sure the new toys in the house were good enough for “baby sister.” That’s right — Kardashian and husband Kanye West are expecting another girl.

This pregnancy is unlike the others, because Kardashian is using a surrogate to carry her daughter. After giving birth to North, now 4, and Saint, 23 months, her doctor felt as if it wouldn’t be wise for her to try and carry a third child naturally (she suffered from placenta accreta during both pregnancies). But in her eyes, using a surrogate this time is actually a little bit harder, because she lacks control.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kardashian said that “[obviously] you pick someone that you completely trust and that you have a good bond and relationship with, but it is still…knowing that I was able to carry my first two babies and not my baby now, it’s hard for me.” And we can understand how she’s feeling, especially since she’s depending so much on someone else.

While she mentioned that North is excited to have a sister, she noted that it was a little hard to explain the process to Saint — especially without the belly. But luckily, she has a funny gameplan to get the point across.

"I don’t know if my son gets it yet, especially since I don’t have the belly. It is a different experience," she said. "So I said to my sisters, ‘Would I be really creepy if I just had someone dress up like a big stork and drop the baby off at the front door? And have to explain that? Isn’t that what we heard growing up?'"

We’re glad that Kardashian has a sense of humor about it, and can’t wait to hear more information about her brand new baby girl.
