Kim Kardashian just responded to the Drake/Kanye West feud, and this has reached Gossip Girl levels
Rappers Kanye West and Drake don’t get along. They haven’t for almost a decade, and we don’t see a “Kumbaya” moment happening any time soon. Their beef began in 2010 as Drake began to rise in popularity, and since then, disses have been thrown back and forth via interviews and social media—culminating in a current contentious Twitter feud that began on December 13th. And now, Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian got involved.
For some context: Things really blew up between Drake and Ye earlier this year. Drake reportedly suspected Kanye of disclosing information about his (then secret) son to rapper Pusha-T, who sang about the child publicly. And in September, Drake dragged Kanye’s Yeezy 350 sneakers in the song “No Stylist” with French Montanta.
Kanye took to Twitter on December 13th, sharing a screenshot of a text message in which Drake’s team seemingly asked for permission to re-release “Say What’s Real” (which features a Kanye sample) for an upcoming project. Still following?

And the tweets kept coming. “Still need that apology for mentioning the 350s and trying to take food out your idols kids mouths,” Kanye followed up. “Been trying to meet with you for 6 months bro You sneak dissing on trav records and texting Kris [Jenner] talking bout how’s the family.”

Kanye also accused Drake of buying the first two rows of a Toronto Pusha-T concert to intentionally start a mob. “Stop this already bro,” Kanye tweeted. “You getting people hurt out here. And over what.”
Then there was a real-time development:
Drake finally called

Mission accomplished

By the way… not cleared😂

The “call” clearly didn’t patch things up between the two artists. “Drake called trying to threaten me,” Kanye added.

So drake if anything happens to me or anyone from my family you are the first suspect So cut the tough talk
— ye (@kanyewest) December 14, 2018
And that’s when Kim got involved.
@drake Never threaten my husband or our family. He paved the way for there to be a Drake.

My husband is the most brilliant person, the most genius person that I know. He has broken so many boundaries, everything from music, stage design, fashion and culture and will continue to change the world.

Kanye has currently posted 128 tweets directed at Drake. Yes, 128 tweets. And Drake did not respond to a single one. (Definition of unbothered.)

Drake is arguably one of the most #online rappers, the one who is most cognizant of social media and its impact and yet he neverrrr really engages in Twitter beefs lol because he knows the key is control. Now see who looks stupid lol. He doesn't need to do shit😭

Drake did, however, upload this short and sweet post to his Instagram Story—which seems to indicate he’s currently laughing this all off.
We’re not sure what comes next in the Kanye and Drake feud, but hopefully they can settle things privately (which would probably be more efficient anyway).
