Kim Kardashian publicly addressed her baby news for the first time
These days, we’re having trouble keeping up with the Kardashians. All within the span of September, it’s been reported that Kylie Jenner is expecting, Khloé Kardashian is pregnant, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are going to have a third child via surrogate. Fortunately, with all these reports floating around, we have the upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians to offer us some clarity.
In the Season 14 promo for the hit reality show, Kim Kardashian herself addresses her own bit of baby news, publicly, for the first time. While video-chatting with sister Khloé — who is reportedly expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson — Kim asks,
"What happens every time I say, 'Guess what?'" She then announces, in response to her sister's correct guess, "We're having a baby!"

Though she makes no mention of a surrogate, E! News confirms that Kim and Kanye hired a surrogate earlier this year, after Kim was advised by doctors to avoid a third pregnancy. They add that Kim has waited to make this announcement because “she simply wasn’t ready to officially share the news.”
Though we are excited for Kim and her growing family, we completely respect her decision to wait until she felt it was the right time to make this announcement.
Back in April, on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim alluded to surrogacy as an option after she underwent surgery on her uterus to attempt to prep her body for a third pregnancy. She explained:
"I'm definitely leaning more towards...I want to try...After talking to Kanye, I think I always knew that surrogacy was an option, but I didn't think it was that realistic of an option, and now I feel like that's my reality. I feel like surrogacy really is the only other option for me."
Now, we know for sure that Kim and Kanye have a surrogate, and that North and Saint will soon have a baby sibling. We are thrilled for the Kardashian-West clan and wish them all the best.
