Kim Kardashian’s new contour and highlighter kit is more versatile than you’d expect

In what can only be described as the most inevitable product launch in history, Kim Kardashian is launching a beauty line. KKW Beauty will be upon us in a mere two days. Want some Kim Kardashian-branded contour sticks? Better set an alarm for June 21st at 9 a.m., PST.

Each KKW contour and highlighter kit includes four shades: two mattes and two shimmers. The kits are $48 each, and come in Light, Medium, Dark, and Deep Dark.

If you plan on purchasing (out of curiosity, desire for more sculpted features, or out of sheer love for all things Kardashian), you should know that the KKW Beauty contour and highlighter kits are incredibly versatile.

We wouldn’t want you only using them on your cheekbones — that’d be absurd.

In a new behind-the-scenes clip from a KKW Beauty tutorial, Kim spills the beans on the many ways she gets her contour on.

"The reason I wanted to do cream contour first is because I've been wearing less makeup lately. I love to look bronzy and tan. I'll take one side of the stick, the lighter side, and I'll do shadow, under the eye, full nose, full lip liner, and I'll use the darker one all around my face. It became my go-to."

If you’ve seen the KKW Contour kit swatches you already know the metallic shades look like they’d make pretty shadows and lip colors. We’re feeling this hack, Kim.

We certainly pegged Kim K as a full coverage gal, but it turns out her contour kits are on the sheerer side. Mario Dedivanovic praised the formula saying,

"It just looks more natural, gives a nice glow to the skin. The texture is very sheer and you can kinda see through the skin which is what you want, you don't it to look like a mask. So the product allows it so that you can actually see through your skin and gives you that nice contour, nice definition, and warms up the skin as well."

Is Kim’s full face contouring hack enough to sell you on KKW Beauty? We’re thinking yes.
