Kim Kardashian and Kanye West went to Blue Ivy’s birthday party, so we hope that beef is squashed for good
Going through a public falling out with a longtime friend is undoubtedly a messy experience, but it appears that the beef brewing between Kanye West and Jay Z has quietly simmered down. According to Idolator, the “Wolves” rapper and his wife Kim Kardashian reportedly attended Blue Ivy’s 5th birthday party on Friday, January 6, which suggests that the pair resolved West’s issue with Jay Z’s reaction to Kardashian’s robbery.
In the rant that won’t soon be forgotten, West famously called out Jay and Beyoncé on stage during a Saint Pablo concert in October for not reaching out to him and Kardashian in the days after she was robbed in Paris. West even griped about the fact that North and Saint West hadn’t had a play date with Blue Ivy.
But apparently, that’s all behind them as Kimye were spotting heading into Blue Ivy’s birthday bash, sans North and Saint, so maybe they’re taking baby steps to mending fences. After all, things between them seem to have been quite shaky for a while. After West’s onstage breakdown, a source reportedly said Jay Z “misses the old Kanye,” which had us majorly concerned about their bromance.
There’s likely many moving parts to this situation that we’ll never be privy to (unless West decides to expose even more details), but this party invite gives us hope that West and Jay will get back on track with their relationship, which clearly extends beyond the music.
