Kim Kardashian and Kanye West called a fan battling cancer
Though it seems we’re bombarded with headlines and news stories about this famous family, we love it when the story is a positive one. So our hearts are brimming to hear that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian reached out to a fan battling cancer over the phone recently.
The Wests frequently give back to those in need, and Kim in particular uses her public platform to raise awareness for causes she’s passionate about. Last fall, she enlisted her legal team to help Cyntoia Brown, a victim of sex trafficking. The Kardashian-Jenner family have also been known to quietly donate meals to needy families around the holidays, and Kim advocates for young cancer patients — a cause no doubt close to her heart after her dad, the late Robert Kardashian Sr., died from complications of esophageal cancer in 2003.
And the Wests recently reached out to a young fan with cancer, reportedly “making her happy in her last moments.” false
According to the original tweet, Kanye called an unnamed fan several days ago to rap for her, without any fanfare or media attention.
Kim didn’t directly address the call itself, but she did send out a tweet saying, “We are praying for her family,” which seemingly confirms that Kanye did, in fact, make the call and that she was likely there for it, too.
