Kim Kardashian fooled all of us with her new haircut

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to switching up her look. Whether she’s temporarily rocking an icy blonde ‘do or even sporting bangs, Kim K is well known for her gorgeous mane. She had us all fooled when she debuted her platinum blonde locks earlier this year (after actually going blonde last fall), but later admitted that it was just a wig that time. Now, it appears that she’s fooled us all again.

We wrote about loving Kim’s super cute new look earlier this week, but it seems the blunt lob look isn’t to last.

The angled long bob haircut that Kim stepped out with several days ago is just another wig, y’all. Kim’s super-long mane is still intact.

The adorbs new ‘do seen in Kim’s Snapchats sent shockwaves through the Kim K fanbase when the reality star stepped out with it earlier this week. She tried out the look while hanging with her hubby Kanye West and attending a birthday celebration at the Nice Guy in West Hollywood for her sis Kylie Jenner.

Kimmy clarified the truth in a blog post on her website, explaining that she’d wanted to try out a shorter look for a while and decided to give it a go with a wig.

“I’ve been saying for SO long that I want to cut my hair,” Kim wrote. “So the day before Kylie’s event for Kylie Cosmetics I decided to achieve the look a different way: a wig! Everyone is saying I chopped my hair, but it’s all an illusion!”

Seems like Kim is a bit more attached to her long hair than her sister Kendall Jenner is. Kendall recently debuted much shorter, newly-chopped locks, just in time for the height of summer. It seems that Kim’s hair makeovers are typically more similar to Kylie’s, who also loves to (temporarily) switch things up with creative coloring and wigs.
