What will Kim Kardashian name baby number 3? According to this theory, it could be something Christmas-y
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so why not name your daughter after it? A new theory published by Refinery29 makes a convincing case that Kim Kardashian will name her new baby Noel. And not just because it’s the reality star’s own middle name (or used to be, before she married and changed her name to Kim Kardashian West). It turns out that Kim has a bunch of reasons to name her daughter Noel.
This theory offers some compelling arguments, the first being that we know Kardashian’s third baby is due around Christmas. (Any day now!) So a Christmas-themed baby name would fit perfectly, and “Noel” means “Christmas” in French. Second, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s other two children, North and Saint, have Christmas-esque names. And okay, this one might sound like a stretch, but hear us out.
Saint is, well, Saint. And as for North, Refinery29 reports thatKris Jenner explained the name on The View: “The way [Kim] explained it to me was that North means highest power and she says that North is their highest point together.” The words “highest power” likely evoke religious imagery for you, and that could be what Kim and Kanye were going for. From a biblical standpoint, the Star of Bethlehem plays a big part in the story of Christmas. And while it’s not to be confused with the North Star, the two stars have similar roles in offering guiding lights.
If we may, we have another piece of evidence to add to the Noel Kardashian theory.
When Kim appeared on Ellen last month (and accidentally revealed that their third baby will be a girl), she said that she likes short names. “I do like different names. But short, easy to spell, one syllable — that’s kind of my vibe,” Kardashian told Ellen. “Noel” is two syllables, but it’s short and easy to spell. Hey, two out of three isn’t bad.
More potential evidence: Noel fits perfectly with the names North and Saint.
Considering how meticulous Kim Kardashian is about, well, everything she does, of course she will choose a baby name that sounds great with her other kids’ names. North, Saint, and Noel sound very nice together. Plus, it could set a pattern for Kardashian to name her daughters “N” names and her son(s) “S” names. Considering that each of the Kardashian sisters has a “K” name, it makes sense that Kim K. would continue the tradition with a new letter.

If Kim doesn’t name her third baby Noel, maybe she will choose a different Christmas-themed name. Maybe Santa West is coming to town, or perhaps Rudolph? Considering it’s a girl, Mary is also a good guess. Or maybe something less biblical, like Frosty?
Okay, maybe not. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s surrogate will likely give birth to the power couple’s third child at the end of December, so we won’t have to wait much longer to get confirmation of baby number three’s name. Thank Yeezus!
