Kim Kardashian revealed the secret significance behind her bright pink tracksuit
Before she was regularly sporting Yeezy, Kim Kardashian could often be found in Juicy Couture tracksuits and Louis Vuitton handbags. While the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has undergone a major minimalist style evolution in recent years, there’s (thankfully) still throwback evidence of Kim from days of yore. On January 9th, Twitter user Christina Curatolo shared an old photo of the star in a bright pink Juicy Couture tracksuit. Curatolo wrote, “I’d love to see Kim bring back Juicy Couture sweatsuits and that LV multicolor bag.”

Shortly after, Kim retweeted the picture and revealed the sentimental significance behind the ensemble—and it involves her now-husband Kanye West. The KKW Beauty mogul explained,
“Fun Fact- in this pic I was on my way to meet Kanye for his Good Life performance for the MTV Awards. I didn’t really know him but his people called my people lol & I was a girl in the audience at the live performance in Vegas. I met his mom Donda this same night
Kardashian is likely referencing West’s performance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. She later followed up with another tweet, writing: “P.S. I still have this sweatsuit and this bag.”

The pair began dating in 2012 and tied the knot in May 2014 in Florence, Italy. They have three children together: 5-year-old North, 3-year-old Saint, and 11-month-old Chicago…with reports of a fourth baby on the way.
