Kim Kardashian basically ignored Kanye so she could obsess over Beyoncé at the VMAs, and we get it
Like the rest of the world, even Kim Kardashian isn’t immune to the power of Beyoncé. It’s safe to say that this year’s MTV Video Music Awards basically belonged to Queen Bey, and she even made VMA history by winning eight awards, bringing her grand total of silver Moonmen to a staggering 25. (Where does she store them all? Serious question!) Between her stunning red carpet look, her epic surprise 15-minute performance of many of her already iconic Lemonade jams, and all her wins, she pretty much set Madison Square Garden on fire. Kardashian was among those praying at the altar of the Beyhive last night, and cameras caught a hilarious moment between Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West, during her acceptance speech for Video of the Year.
West was in good spirits during the show, despite having lost both awards he was nominated for. Still, when he lost the highly coveted Video of the Year award for “Famous” to Bey’s “Formation,” he tried to seek solace in the arms of his loving wife. But Kim was understandably mesmerized and seemed a bit… peeved when ‘Ye went in for a hug.

LOL, all jokes aside, it’s totally understandable that Kim simply wanted to focus all her attention on Queen Bey in that magical moment. Sorry, ‘Ye.
