Khloe Kardashian’s carb-free meal plan sounds intense, but we did learn one snack hack

Khloe Kardashian’s celebrity nutritionist, Dr. Philip Goglia, recently broke down Khloe’s day-to-day meal plan to Healthista.com, and we have to admit we are a bit shocked at how militant it is. No carbs? No legumes? No dairy? Good for Khloe for being able to follow it, because we sure as hell could not. Despite this, we did learn one thing from her diet that we might be able to incorporate more into our daily life, and it’s both simple and easy.

When we snack, we tend to go for nuts, dried fruit, chips and hummus, tortilla chips and salsa, yogurt with a little granola, something healthy-ish but on the heartier side to help quell our rumbling stomachs until our next meal.

What does Khloe snack on almost exclusively? Vegetables, vegetables, and more vegetables. Raw. Interesting.

We always thought that we’d be left hungry if we only snacked on raw veggies between meals, but apparently, this works for Khloe. For two of her seven “meals,” Khloe has either a cup of celery or a cup of tomatoes. Okay, occasionally she has an egg or 12 almonds, but it looks like, for the most part, she’s always munching on something green.

Is this the key to Khloe’s killer bod? Goglia seems to think so. He says, “When it comes to nutrition and weight loss, it’s 80 percent in the kitchen and 20 percent in the gym.” Wow. Good to know.

Khloe once said that the key to sticking to any major lifestyle changes in the diet department is to take it slow. She told Popsugar Australia:

“I would go week by week taking certain things out of my diet that I should not be eating. I couldn’t do it all in one day or else I would feel really deprived and I knew I was going to fail. So for me on week one I cut out dairy. Week two I cut out sodas. Week three I cut out any juice and only drank water. So on and so forth. That is how I had to operate.”

We’re glad you’re feeling so good and healthy, Khloe! We’re looking forward to incorporating some of these ideas into our diets to feel a bit healthier ourselves.
